After videos of him crying that went viral, Babil Khan’s family has released a statement. The family has spoken about the real intention behind naming his fellow actors in the videos.

Statement from Babil Khan’s family
Babil’s family has said that the actor is safe and can also have difficult days like anyone else. However, they did offer a clarification on all the names he had mentioned in the video.
They also have mentioned that he named Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor, and Arijit Singh not because they have been bullying him but because of how they have supported him and are really doing good work.

He has been really a down to earth person, found respecting his fellows and elders during any bollywood meetups or parties. Clarity given by his family “Like anyone else, Babil is allowed to have difficult days — and this was one of them. We want to reassure all his well-wishers that he is safe and will be feeling better soon.”
In the video, Babil was sincerely acknowledging a few of his peers whom he believes are making meaningful contributions to the evolving landscape of Indian cinema. What was in the videos?
In the video, fighting back tear, Babil said, “What I mean to say is that I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh. There are so many more names. Bollywood is so *****. Bollywood is so screwed.”
People on social media assumed Babil is calling out these actors for something they had done to him.
Babil has also deleted his Instagram account.
Babil Khan, actor and son of late Irrfan Khan, shared and then deleted a video in which he slammed several celebrities. Taking to Reddit, fans shared clips of Babil’s Instagram Stories. Babil Khan was seen crying and slurring in the clip, leaving his fans concerned about his mental health.
Babil slams Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Adarsh Gourav
In the video, Babil criticized Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav among others. He said, “What I mean to say is that I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh. There are so many more names. Bollywood is so *****. Bollywood is so screwed.”
Clips of Babil’s video were posted on Reddit in the early hours of Sunday. Fans were concerned about the young actor’s mental health and wondered what was making him so upset.
“Bollywood is the most fakest, fakest, fakest industry that I’ve ever ever been a part of. But there are few people that want Bollywood to be better (smiles)…I got to show to you so much more, so much more, so much more. I have so much more to give you…”
