Paytm FASTag : What’s latest
In mid of mania among Paytm FASTag users due to the certain regulatory warnings received by Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) and RBI imposing serious business restrictions on the company, Paytm on Tuesday announced that it is enabling FASTag recharges directly through its app.
This move, it said, allows users to recharge their Fastags anytime and anywhere, avoiding long waiting queues and delays at toll plazas. Down further, it said that Paytm users now have 1 option to purchase new FASTags from HDFC Bank app.
FASTags are mandatory for all 4-wheelers and use radio-frequency identification technology (RFID) for a reusable tag fixed to the vehicle’s windscreen.
