ITS Royal Challengers vs Kings
One thing is for sure, we will get a new face of winners in this final.
Now with a guaranteed new Indian Premier League winners as RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) take on Punjab Kings with both teams going for their 1st trophy at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad . This will be their 4th clash this season with RCB now in top 2, including Qualifier 1 and Kings of Punjab winning one. Revenge will be on the mind of Kings captain Shreyas Iyer while RCB skipper Rajat Patidar will see to avoid graining down at the final hurdle.
In Qualifier 1, RCB defeated PBKS without breaking as Kings’ batting did implode. RCB made their way into the final while PBKS had to take on Mumbai Indians, the winners of the Eliminator rounds. With Mumbai almost running away with the win on Sunday, captain Iyer came up at the most important time and knocked an unbeaten 87 to take Punjab to the finals.
Both teams have big hitters in their pockets but RCB are still sweating over the well being of Tim David. Where, Punjab can opt for Harpreet Brar instead of Chahal who did not look at his best against MI after returning in the Eliminator after sitting out the last few matches, including Qualifier 1.

What did Punjab Kings Captain Say?
As per the latest statement from Shreyas, “When I back myself, I back my instincts. I think that’s when I get the best out of myself. Also when other players keep performing, that also gives you a little bit of extra boost to keep going,” Iyer told. “I personally feel that I love to play the situation as much as possible and not get too ahead of the game.
I see if I am chasing, I see the required run rate and how the wicket is playing, which all bowlers are going to come and bowl. So, based on that I plan my innings and also I see to it that I take the game to the end. So all this planning has to be precise and has to work on the given day,” Iyer told.
After taking his team across the line, Iyer’s celebrations were muted. The reason, according to him, was because the final match remained.
