Starlink satellites approved for use in Israel and Gaza

JERUSALEM: The Israeli government has approved the use if Elon Musk promoted Starlink Satellite Internet Services in both Israel and parts of Gaza Strip. Their communication minister has announced recently.

Under this deal, Starlink will support internet access at an Emirati run hospital in Gaza’s southern city Rafah, with a look to expand further based on approvals. Startlinks network of low orbit satellites can provide internet to remote areas that has normal infrastructure disabled.

Starlinks low latency high speed connections will enable Video Conferencing with other hospitals and real time remote diagnostics, Israeli minister of communications Shlomo Karhi said in a statement.
